Default Final Cut looses metadata of audio shot on Cantar?

Hi,
Is it true Final Cut doesn't support the metadata added by the production sound guy, like for instance track naming:
1=boom
2=Lav Brad
3=Lav Suzy
7=Mixdown.L
8=Mixdown.R

This info doesn't show up in the omf i got, but i does show up when i import the original audio from the sound guys disk.
Any ideas?
