Default can't choose audio options when bouncing to quicktime

I'm having a strange issue - when I bounce a video to quicktime *sometimes* the audio option is greyed out and I can't choose AAC and the bit rate I want, etc. But this is happening after successfully choosing the audio options within the SAME session with the SAME video - sometimes it works and then it doesn't.

For example, I'll bounce a video and I can change the audio option. I send it to a client and they say remove this thing... I make the small change and try to bounce another video. But this time I can't change the audio settings because the Audio option box is grayed out. The specific options I'm talking about is when you click "Bounce to Quicktime..." and then click on the "Quicktime Settings" box. The top section is video and the second section is Audio and you need to click the little box in order to choose the audio options. It's just that it seems to be greyed out about 50% of the time.

If I try to bounce to quicktime 10 times or so and click on all the different options in the first "Bounce to Quicktime" window (before clicking "Quicktime Settings") sometimes I can get the audio option box to magically re-appear. But it seems completely random when it reappears. Is anyone having this issue?? Just another Pro Tools 11 video bug or am I doing something wrong?

Tried trashing preferences. Pro Tools 11.2 HD (omni) on New Mac Pro running Mavericks. Was having the same issue on previous versions of 11 though. Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

Default Re: can't choose audio options when bouncing to quicktime

Hey there! I'm experiencing the same issue right now.

I bounced 1 video with no issues and had my audio set to 48k.

Restarted protools to do another bounce on another movie and I can't access the sound options / greyed out.

Did you find a work around for this issue? So weird. Currently its only bouncing my movies at 44k - hiss...

Protools 2020.5 Mojave

Cheers.
