Pro Tools 9.0.6 Update - Eleven Rack - Windows 7 Results
So as many of you probably know PT 9.0.6 was released late last night.
This is an update for owners of Pro Tools 9, do not install this update if you are running Pro Tools LE 6,7,8, or Pro Tools 10. I have installed it, and everything seems to be working fine so far. I also updated my Eleven Rack drivers. I had been using the 1.0.8 drivers, and thought I would finally try the 1.0.11 drivers. All seems to be fine. I deleted the 1.0.8 drivers before installing the 1.0.11 Also I deleted my iLok drivers (both the driver and client) and downloaded and installed the latest versions. After uninstalling the Eleven Rack drivers and iLok drivers I ran Ccleaner and cleared out the registry then restarted the PC before installing the updated 11R and iLok drivers. Another thing I went ahead an did was Deleted Preferences and Databases. The ERXP UI files remained in place after 9.0.6 was installed, so there was no need to run the first section of the ERXP installer. So, everything seems to be running fine, I have not noticed any improvements performance wise, but there has not been a decrease either. Looks to be a good update to install. Re: Pro Tools 9.0.6 Update - Eleven Rack - Windows 7 Results
I get really slow banking through tracks on Control 24, same was for v9.0.5 so I'm going back to 9.0.3. Didn't notice any issues with 11R though.
