Editing Midi
Here is a quick question about editing midi:
When editing a selected part of a region, I'll have a particular area selected and playing in a loop. Sometimes, I'll stop the loop from playing to do some note changes etc. When I do this (and select anything in the region), the original section becomes un-selected, forcing me to go back and select the area of the region that I want to loop play. This ends up being a real distraction because I have to do this over and over again. My question is: Is there a way to lock the selected area, so that after I do some editing, it will just loop play from the previous (original) selection? I am used to Logic 9 where you just select an area to be looped, click the loop play button (separate and different from the PT Loop/Play mode). Any help on this would be great. Thanks, Anthony |

Re: Editing Midi
'Unlink Timeline and Edit Selection' alternatively use Dynamic Transport.

Re: Editing Midi
Thanks! I figured it was simple, but just could not figure that one out.
