Artist banking problem please help

I just upgraded to EuControl 3.1 and the latest firmware on my 3 artist mix units and my artist control. Since the upgrade I can no longer bank faders across all the surfaces, previously if I was only using a couple of tracks say for like a podcast or something I could bring the tracks from the first unit down to the unit directly in front of me either by nudging or banking them, now the nudge and bank buttons will only move the tracks off the end of the first mix unit in the wrong direction. The units are in proper order. What the hell is going on? Am I overlooking something simple?

Yeah, I can see what you are saying. They've locked it down on the left side so you can't go any further left than channel 1. Oddly enough they didn't do that on the right side though. I think what they should do is make that a configuration option to allow, or not, scrolling past the ends.

Well I'm glad I'm not crazy. Why on earth would they limit the functionality like this?!?!?! Updates are supposed to add things not take them away!!! Ridiculous!

Couldn't agree more here .. We have just invested in 4 units for our pre-production room and finally got around to using these but we are coming across a few really weird limitations and bugs unfortunately

Atleast EuCon 3.1 have worked from start for us so the other issues have to be worked around and some like this one is strange..

Yeah now I have to decide between regaining my workflow by downgrading or keeping the obviously superior stability of the new version. Slate digital May have a new customer shortly. The raven is looking better every day.

I guess that's fine and all but before I could simply nudge the tracks where I want them. With 28 faders in front of me that is a huge pain in the ass to approximate something that the old software could do effortlessly (when it was stable for more than a few minutes.) I don't understand why AVID would simply take away such a simple feature, only in one direction at that. This must be an error, there simply isn't any other reasonable explanation!

Looks like AVID decided to not fix Eucon, but instead, to break it...
