Question Trouble with AUDIO Setup

Hello,

I have a trouble with AUDIO Setup: when I want to configure the speakers that are connected to my Mbox Pro, I can't hear any sound. Even if I work with my MacBook Pro (Mac OS X 10.6.8, 2.53 GHz, 4GB) detached from the audio interface, I have the same problem. Now the Audio MIDI setup closed unexpectedly and this is the part of the report:

Application Specific Information:
abort() called

I also don't understand what is the clock source? Now I've chosen the Built-In Output in the pop up menu, because before there was an audio interface I'd used long time ago (probably computer remembered it).

Thank you very much for your help!

Kind regards,
Barbara

Default Re: Trouble with AUDIO Setup

If you are just trying to get playback working you would set the clock to Pro Tools (internal)
To record you would usually set it to your interface.
Might be better to post this with more info on your setup and PT version .
