Nice thing with Mello and Synsations is they run in the free UVI Workstation. And a reminder thatVEP7 needs the physical Vienna Key/eLicenser (they're moving to iLok in the future).

izotope has the most difficult to use product suite as far as what to upgrade.

I had wanted to upgrade to RX9, which was something like $199 but I upgraded to Music Production Suite which includes Ozone 9, RX9 and a bunch of other things for $49.

I wish they would do a 'compare products' or even a chart showing what comes in what because it's the most confusing way to figure out what you even own with them.

I also bought Nomad Factory Integral Studio Pack 3 for $49. I've used some of these plugs years ago and liked them. For the price I figured what the heck.

They do have a 'compare products' but only within a specific product like Ozone or rx9. Nothing between packages though; that easy to figure out though - you just open two pages side-by-side. ASs to figure out what you own that's easy and there are two ways to do that. Open their product portal and on one of the tabs you'll see what you own. The other is to login to your account and look at the 'my products' page. Done.

I need to update my WUP for my Abbey Road Collection. But it will cost more to update the WUP on this than it will to buy a whole new license for Abbey Road.

Just buy the new license IMO. I have Mercury on my main PC but WUP ran out a couple weeks before v13, and you need to have a valid WUP to get the latest version and to have two licenses.

So I just bought Horizon for my Macbook Pro and some of the $29 plugins for much less than it would cost to re-up Mercury and get those licenses for the Macbook.

v12 is working just fine with Windows 11. I'll WUP eventually.

But it is nice having two licenses that aren't tied to having WUP.
