Artist control's soft knobs with the control app.

Hello there.i am digging the avid control app along with my artist control on cubase 11 and i am very happy with the results so far .however i would like the 8 softknobs on the artist controller to automatically follow the 8 quick controls of the app when i am on the channel page(app) and switching between eq-input-insert etc without pressing anything on the artist control to access this 8 parameters from the artist.the only way to do that in the current moment is to access that parameters from the artist controller independently from the app but my goal here would be to select a module on the channel page on the app and have the artist's softknobs following the apps'quick controls immediatelly.is this possible?if it is so how can i setup this?do i need to envolve mackie protocol as well? am searching for days on the internet and on the forum here but could not find a solution and i as understand this is possible with the dock and the S series but i cant find it for the artist.Thanks a lot.

These are treated like two surfaces not like the Dock/Control App which were designed as one. The Artist Control came years before the Control App.

Are you sure they work like two seperate controllers?i ask because the artist and the app in the softkeys side work as a pair together but thanks for let me know.

Try this setting "Open windows on Ws when knobs assigned from a DAW click" Try Avid Control and Channel knobs This is the pref that sends the plugin etc to the correct place.

Unfortunatelly that did not work.do i need to add cubase as a workstation maybe or enable mackie control ?

I'm the Product Manager of Control Surfaces and designer of Avid Control so yes, I know they won't work like this. Avid Control came out long after Artist Control and essentially replaced it.
