Pro Tools 10 'Building Beat Detective Window' Hang

Runnin Pro Tools 10 on imac OS 10.6.8. When I create a session, Pro Tools will hang on 'Building Beat Detective Window'. Pro Tools does not crash, however I cannot actually open up a session. Is there a fix to this?
