Default Pro tools 2022.6 released

I just got an email and indeed it’s in my account. I didn’t have the time to download it yet.

Any one first experience with it?

So far so good here. Fixed a few bugs that "bugged" me in 2022.5.

A lot more smooth graphically on an M1 / Monterey 12.4 . Has drastically improved that way in the last couple versions.

All well here also so far on MBP max (MacOS 12.4).
- Session load times are faster.
- MP3 import 32 bit conversion issue seems to be fixed. MP3 load times are back to what I would consider normal.
- I believe the intermittent multiple-monitor-keyboard focus-edit window issue that has been discussed here on the DUC has been fixed but time will tell on this one.

Sadly still requires Rosetta 2 on M1 based Macs.

I also had high hopes when I saw that email come in, but I think it's still going to be a few months before we see Native. 2022.10?

Oh I expect they'll sound the trumpets, stop the rotation of the earth and put billboards in the heavens when they announce Apple Silicon compatible.

I predict native M1 support will come mid-to-late 2023 - at the earliest. I’d love to be wrong.

Default Re: Pro tools 2022.6 released--selection of midi notes disabled after quantize

in the MIDI editor window--selected and quantized a couple bars of a pattern. After that, the events that were quantized could not be selected/moved. I can hear velocities being adjusted using the velocity trim, but the graphics for the notes don't move. So no note trimming, moving the note, any further editing after the quantize operation. See attached screen grab after using the i-beam to select a range of time. Selecting the notes to the left worked fine (they had not been quantized)--notes to the right had been quantized, and are not selected in the i-beam sweep. Long time PT user--not sure if some preference has been changed that I missed.
