Adding a PT10 license to my iLok

I am considering buying the cheapest version of PT 10 to have at the studio in case folks bring .ptx files in. I run PT 8.1 HD here at my studio and folks often come in from other places with files I can't open since I have not upgraded. I have a couple of computers so I am thinking of putting 10 on a different computer than the main one here, so as to not wind up boogering up my main studio computer. The question is, can I add a license for PT10 to my iLok without having to surrender my 8.1 license?

if you do an upgrade from Avid you will probably have to surrender you 8 asset
if you get a licence from ebay you should be fine, I would consider putting it on a separate iLok so you can be running your 8 and have the other computer doing the convert without having to shut your main rig down
