Good luck downloading the Steve Slate Drums! They are getting slammed and their servers are down. Great price though... I can't wait to use.

They're talking the next day or two to be back on line...think the server fried itself.

I don't mind the wait when it's only $20 invested! I got the same info from their tech support about the delay. You would think when a company enters into a "no brainer" deal that they would scale up to accommodate the flood of cheapskates. Myself included of coarse!

If only there was some sort of technology that allowed large numbers of networked computers to share content with each other, such that a large number of bits file could be scattered around various nodes of the network, as if some sort of, of... rainstorm... no, tornado... no, a TORRENT! That's it! A torrent of bits!

If only there was such a technology.

Yes, but I feel morally obligated to pay a person for a product/service rendered - or is that not what you were insinuating?

There are a few software vendors that offer their goods via torrent d/l... It's just a faster, easier way to get things out. At the end of the day you still need authorization/iLok to use it.. I don't think the poster was suggesting 'faulty' software.
