Pro Tools 2021.3 released

Hi,

I wonder if there will be a 2021 version?
Because we heared nothing since december.

We are willing to pay the support plan fee for all our systems, if there is appropriate development, but seems to be very lame at the moment.
Also for Eucon.

Sometimes AVID communicates with us users, sometimes not. It seems to be a bad habit that happens again and again.

Yes there will. When? Good question. Latest PT version is 2020.12 so my educated guess is if there is not going to be 2021.3 then 2021.4 is very likely. thinking it depends when they can support Big Sur.

Yes, true. They communicate when they have something to tell, as in after releasing something. They do not pre-announce releases or give roadmaps.

Avid CS told me a new release would be coming "in the next weeks". This was middle of February, so it shouldn't be too long.

Avid CS would not know and Beta would not tell. Your best bet is reading PTE and once the spill the beans release is nearing.

Hopefully they won't drop support for High Sierra although history would suggest otherwise. IIRC.

Dropping HS would allow them to go all-Metal on Mac, though. Will see, hopefully soon. Lucky I am not in Beta anymore, can guess just as much as anyone

I hope they either lighten up dark mode or give the user control to adjust the darkness.

Seems like the way it is now is just a color invert.
