SSD 5.5 r1.2.4 is available in your Slate accounts. This fixes the GUI issue.

Yeah Avid broke the AAX SDK with this update.

I would suggest going back to PT22.7 for the meantime, or if you have BlueCat Patchwork plugin you can run the AU or VST3 in Pro Tools.

Hopefully Avid will have a solution soon and update the SDK.
Why does SSD4 still work then?

How do you update? When I go to my slate account, it has me install Steven Slate Audio Center. Inside the Application, I had it reinstall my plugins which I would assume would be the latest and I still have this issue.

However, the audio all works, but I just can't see anything on the GUI.

The latest version is 1.2.4. This fixes the GUI bug. Keep in mind it replaces 1.2.2, so you'll have to reinstantiate it.

Do you have an account with https://stevenslatedrums.com

If so, click on Account, enter your user and password.

On the next page, click on Steven Slate Drums 5.5 & Expansions.

On this page, look for Offline Installers and download the Mac Plug-in Installer. For some strange reason, the version from the Slate Audio Center is still 1.2.2.

All good here with the standalone app installer on Monterrey 14.6 and Pro Tools Ultimate 2022.9.
