Sorry everyone.

Hi Janne,

I wrote that article several days ago- was published on Sunday 06.13.21.
It isn't announcing the release of the product, it was just discussing the publicly available information.

I still think it is not nice to release such articles before an actual release. If you have inside info, prepare the article and hit go on the second it is released. That way you may also get more inside information in the future, like for example something you heard earlier is changing on the last minute and/or know the projected release date beforehand.

At least I would be nice with such reporters that can wait few days, but then again all of this is my opinion and I have absolutely no say.

Perhaps I can contextualise this article a bit, and address a couple of points you've made?

I don't have any insider information.
I'm not a beta tester, I'm not part of Avid in any way.
If I was then I mostly likely couldn't talk about it.

I am mostly *not a journalist* too- I compose , produce and engineer.
Writing for Experts and other portals is something I do separate from that.

In this instance I was asked to document what, as a HDX1 owning freelance producer/engineer, the new hybrid engine would mean to my workflow.
So I wrote the article- nearly 2 weeks ago now.

Every piece of information in that article is either something that was posted on Avid's website, or discussed in the webinar they presented on the Friday before (if memory serves correctly), or it is just my opinion on how it will transform my workflow.
That is all the article was.

Okay then, sorry if you felt offended. Just generally speaking it is not nice to read about Avid's new features on PTE before release notes on avid.com
