I hope Avid can grasp the fact that this single issue is the biggest screw-up in the past decade of Pro Tools bugs and mistakes.
It needs to be addressed now, not in the next major release . . . now.
We need a 2024.10.3 release now.
They know what it is, and how to solve it. Just put it back to before this ridiculous change was forced upon us.
Customers paid $500 for a year's worth of Pro Tools updates and all they have right now is a major loss of functionality.

I downgraded to 2024.3 so i could continue working.
THis is not a little feature change or a strange quirk... its a full out ERROR in design. so bad

Oh boy . . . this is really messing with my sanity today.
I just inherited a session from someone with multiple playlists.
This playlist change/bug is a nightmare.
Please address it Avid. Please.
Give us 2024.10.3 this week.

"Playlist" view is the only workaround I've found - at least they stay in the same order. Doesn't work very well for grouped tracks though...

If you group some tracks after one of those tracks has more playlists than the other... YOURE SCREWED.

sorry to bother, but if 2024.10 is "playlist broken", and 24.6 "playlist ok" would someone remember which bug or important features, i would miss by going back to 24.6 ?
