back & play behaviour changed? (d-control)

hi

recently upgraded from 7.2 to pt9, and the behaviour of the back & play button on the D-control seems to have changed.

before it didn't matter which "insertion follows playback" mode you were in, the back and play would always jump back by the proper amount and play. now, if the insertion follows playback is disabled, it jumps back to your play point. which is very irritating and not at all practical.

is there some new setting i'm missing?
