Midi Wait For Note Recording/access violation using markers
Hi All,
I'm fairly new to pro-tools 7.3 and am having a strange problem. I have a Korg Triton that I have hooked up to my digi 002 via midi in/out. I am wanting to use the wait to record on first note feature so that i can get better time syncing with the software and my song that i am trying to record. I have the transport showing the extras... and tried to record by waiting on midi notes.. but it does not work. I have checked my connections.. and everything is setup corrected. I have the keyboard setup in my midi studio and selected as my input device. What am i doing wrong? I also have a separate issue. I keep getting an access violation when i try to use the markers... I setup markers in my recording session to mark where i am.. ... any ideas? Demi

Re: Midi Wait For Note Recording/access violation using markers
have you tried 7.3.1cs2 with the "cs2" being key to what i am talking about? in other words, are you aware of the "cs" updates? please disreguard if you know about this, just wanted to make sure we are talking about the same thing.

Re: Midi Wait For Note Recording/access violation using mark
Indeed. 7.3.1cs2 has a fix for exactly the problem that's being complained about (markers and access violations).

Re: Midi Wait For Note Recording/access violation using mark
Oh... now i see... i downloaded 7.3.1 only not the cs2 update... it would make more sense if they would have named it 7.3.2 instead of cs2... very confusing.... geez whiz...thanks guys your the best~~
