S1 fader behaving as if it is intermittently being touched

The second fader on my 2 month old S1 is acting like it is being touched 2 times every second. When I try to move it it fights against me. Occasionally it stops behaving this way but within 10 seconds of stopping it acts up again.

I may have a faulty fader. What are my next steps?

Did you recently have any issues when powering off the unit? ie, the OLEDs staying on with AVID logo?

I had this problem recently. I was able to fix it by opening a session. Turn automation off on the wonky fader. I exercised the fader while the transport was stopped. Full to top and full to bottom, several times. I then put the faster in touch/latch mode and all was good. Try that and report back.

Did you have the power issue like I mentioned before having the fader issue?

No. Was working fine.
