Default Help: problem whit quantize! Better choice for set up?

Hi, i'm new. I've got 002r, ppc g4 powerbook 1.67, 1.5 ram.
I work with pt 7.1 on os x 10.4.7 .
I've some problems about region quantizeing and beat detective: "ok, but region will be moved on other location depending from your roulers..."?????????
Region will moved in grid but away from their initial position.
This happens only some times, i don't know how i can i do!
Is it depending from my daw set up?
Does it exist better configurations?
Thank you all!
