Default Wrong version loading

It would seem that every other time I launch Pro Tools Ultimate on my system, it loads as Pro Tools standard.

Any one else seeing this?

Multiple iLok’s with different licenses and USB load times perhaps?

I've never seen Pro Tools regular open with HD/Ultimate license on iLok.

Try re-synching your iLok with the ILM s/w

No, only using a single ilok. Seems to have settled for now however.

Standard and Ultimate are same software, and Ultimate features are unlocked once PT sees the Ultimate license. If you have a problem with it, the reason is always iLok license.

I have a monthly subscription and this happens to me occasionally when the month is up and is set to renew for the next.

Sometimes the renew is automatic - it refreshes when I launch. However, occasionally I have to refresh it manually in the iLok app. If I forget to refresh, the vanilla opens up instead of Ultimate.

It's a funky system, in that I'm constantly refreshing my HEAT license manually.
