Default Has anyone taken a Pro Schools course?

Just wondering what people that have taken the
Pro Schools courses have to say about them?
Did you learn alot more than you knew before?
Have you been able to get more work as a certified operator, or expert?
No this is not a troll, I just wondering what the industry thinks of this certification and
if I can expect to get anymore work because I have it, as opposed to taking a course that does not offer certification?
Thanks

I've completed PT101 PT201 and PT210. PT310 is at the end of the month. I've been working in PT for 3 years now and consider myself pretty damn good at it. I went into PT101 thinking that I'm going to sleep through most of it. Damn, I was wrong. I couldn't believe how much I DIDN'T know about PT. PT101 was a real eye opener for me. The other classes were just the icing on the cake. I really have to hand it to Digidesign for coming up with a killer training program. I'd really recommend these courses to anyone who's interested in knowing PT inside and out. It's not cheap, but I think these courses will pay for themselves in the long run.

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anyone else out there has completed any of the Protools certificated courses. Im thinking about doing a few of them and would like some input from you worthy people.

Ive got a few years PT experience already and use a Control surface everyday, so im wondering if it would
be worth it ? Do employers know or care about the certificates ? Or would I just be throwing money away ?

Any help would be appreciated.

I've taken the "How to get screwed by upgrades" course, but I think that it's reserved for advanced users.
