Default Feel Like an Idiot - stuck in PAUSE
i feel like a complete idiot. for some reason my protools will not let me play back at the moment - whenever i hit the spacebar or click on the play button the play and the stop button flash and in the lower left it says PAUSE in green and then obviously does nothing - what the hell am i missing here?

what did i accidentally hit that stuck me in this spot and how do i get out of it?


any help would be huge

Which version of Pro Tools?

Is "Wait for note" enabled?

8.0.4 i dont think i have wait for note selected ( how would i know? )

ok got it working - not sure how - but went and took a 30 minute break and now it works LOL

I had this problem too a few times. Usually with very heavy sessions. Removed a cpu hungry plug and that fixed it for me.
