002R - Leave on or turn off...

I have a simple question. I only use my 002R once about every 2 weeks. Should I leave it on, turn it off, or does it matter. I'm wanting to know which is easier on the unit.

turn off, have pity on the power harness.

I know that computers last longer when they are left on. the reason has to do with the expanding / contracting that results from the heating / cooling of turning it on and off. however, two weeks is probably long enough to save a dime or two on your energy bill each month by turning it off. If you used it multiple times per week, I'd say leave it on.

Also keep in mind the direct sunlight, moisture (humidity), dust and vibration are the enemies of electronic equipment.

mine has been on for ages without any problems. it doesn't consume much energy, and even if it did, it would only save on heating costs. but it doesn't matter, as it's very power conservative compared to for example a class-a preamp.
