Update: customer care reset my Avid account login, which I was not having issues with. I have followed up with them to clarify that the issue is with Avid Link no longer recognizing my local PC credentials for enabling express/silent install. It's a different set of credentials.

Unrecognized local PC credentials bug was resolved after reinstalling Link (AvidLink_22.7.0_win, not AvidLink_22.7.1_win, due to an installation bug).

No problem, glad to help.

However, unfortunately the unrecognized local PC credentials issue appears to have resurfaced since the last time. I had switched Express Install off to prevent the continuous faulty installation attempts of Avid Link from 2022.7 to 2022.7.1 (a bug I've separately reported), and when I tried to switch Express Install back on today to test if the credentials were still working as per request from customer support, they're not. I double-checked my password.

Provided an update to customer support, and here too to inform that a simple reinstall unfortunately does not seem to be a permanent solution.
