7.3 Install crash / will not install digirack
I just bought m-powered 7.3 and downloaded the installer. It will install the base application but won't install the digirack or bombfactory plugins. I get an unrecoverable error during the install.
I've tried re-installing the 10.4.9 combined update, repairing permissions, and using the PT uninstall-shield and re-installing. I've also tried to manually install the digirack and bomb factory packages within the larger install bundle. System is: Macbook Pro Core Duo 2.0 / 2G / 7200 Software is 10.4.9 (combined update) Hardware is M-Audio 1814 Any Ideas ????

Got it figured out. It was a permissions problem with library/applicationsupport/digi . . . plugz
Who knows why these things get set to read only!

anything from read only media (CD/DVD) comes off as Read Only by default if it is just copied
