View settings for Bar|Beats timeline

Hello i. tried searching for what seems to be the simplest thing to change . Im getter older and My eye sight is just not what it used to be . Can the Bar|Beats Horizontal line be made wider vertically . I tried moving the mouse over while holding option. or shift or control but it seems like it cant be done.
I must be missing something

nope
best you can do is increase the contrast or change the colour from the GUI customizations (the "chin" section of the color menu)
Other thing is you scale everything up from your operating system display setup. (sometimes adjusting the gamma settings/color profile of the monitor can also help)

Indeed, contrast can make a big difference and Brightness might also help. Having said that, what size screen and what resolution are you running? Maybe a larger screen(but not higher resolution) might help? My old eyeballs are pretty happy with 32" screens running at 1920x1080. I keep 1.5 readers handy, but usually don't need them(even after cataract surgery 2 years ago).
