Digi 002 Rack not turning on

Hello all,
I haven't used my 002 rack for a while and when I tried to boot it up recently, it wouldn't turn on. The mute light turns on, the sample rate lights turn on and then quickly turn off, and from there, the machine freezes. The computer doesn't recongnize it as plugged in and when I try to boot up pro tools, it says that its not connected. Most frustrating. Please help, thanks.

Sounds like you are a "faulty power harness" victim. It's a defect in some of the earlier units.

Temporary workaround reported here has been to open the unit and re-seat the harness.
