Here's something I always wonder..

Does it do the unit any harm if you turn it off and on at the wall (plug socket)?

handy when all the gear mounts up eh?

of course I wouldn't dream of doing it if it causes it damage.. oh no

Haven't had problems with that procedure so far.

I've got some 19" rack sockets with a power switch.
Don't really see what's the difference with using the power button, or using the rack switch...
It doesn't have a shut-down procedure like a Mac/PC, so I GUESS it won't make a difference... will it?!

i think it does.. some of those power strips surge power very rapidly.. Im not sure but i just hit 22 power buttons..
