Output level issue
hello all.
I was recently trimming some meters on my outboard compressor and I noticed that my analog line out 2 is operating at about -6db below all the other outputs in both true bypass and preamp modes. How I tested this, I setup a signal generator on 8 tracks running 1000hz at 0db. On each track I setup an analog insert (analog 1-8) referencing itself with no input on the channel. All line ins are set to true bypass. 1,3,5,6,7,8 all have the exact input level as is being sent on the send. Line 2, although the meters on the interface show output identical to the others, is returning at -6db (ish). I checked my patch bay, and ran other outputs to the the return on line 2, so I know it is a problem with the output. Does anyone else have this issue? Im just hoping my line 2 output isnt hosed.... Id hate to have to ship this thing back while Im working on a session. Thoughts? |
