Firestudio Mobile + PT 9.0.3 = no playback

i've tried every troubleshooting solution I could find...deleting databases, volumes, preferences, repairing permissions, checking I/O, uninstalling and reinstalling pro tools 9 and nothing works. If I switch to aggregate I/O, it will play. However when I switch the playback engine to the Mobile, it doesn't play and the stop button just keeps blinking. All hardware is compatible, at least according to Avid's standards. I've tried searching many times but nothing came up in the forums quite like this, however it has, I apologize. Any help at all?

Mac OSX 10.6.6, all drivers up-to-date.
