To all Pro Tools M-Powered users,

We’re pleased to announce a special preview version of Pro Tools M-Powered 6.8r2 software that delivers compatibility with Mac OS X 10.4.x (“Tiger”). Qualification of Pro Tools M-Powered software on Mac OS X 10.4.x has taken much longer than anticipated due to unforeseen technical issues. This preview of Pro Tools M-Powered allows us to deliver a Tiger-compatible version to you now, while we are hard at work completing our internal qualification. The fully qualified version of Pro Tools M-Powered is anticipated for release within a few weeks. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience in this matter.

We would also like to advise you that this preview version is not 100% bug-free – a list of known issues is provided on the download page. Aside from those few known problems, the Pro Tools M-Powered 6.8r2 preview is a stable and reliable release that is easy and safe to use. We’d like to thank you for downloading it and wish you many hours of productivity and fun with Pro Tools M-Powered.
