Intermittant fades v7.4cs3 PPC
Not sure if we're the only one's in the world with this issue, but we've been getting reports from the control rooms, as well as seeing it for myself, that fades are not rendering as selected. Example - define selection of two regions, an end and a beginning, then Apple F, select both as linear fades ( \ / )for in and out, no linking, and randomly it will render curve on one end or another, and sometimes both ends, other times it will render correctly. Seems that when only configuring a separate end for a fade, fade will render correctly.
This does not happen with a complex session, as setting up two or three channels with tones is all that's necessary. I took a quick look at the forum, but didn't see anything resembling this problem, so I'm likely to believe it might be a user problem. Thanks in advance for any help. System spec's 2.5g G5 PPC, OSX 10.4.11, PT v7.4cs3, 2.5g DDR, 9 workstations Steve LA Studios Inc. |
