Crash logs
1.How can I extract any useful information from the various crash logs? I see all plugins used in the current session listed, but this isn't useful in my quest to avoid hard crashes. Or is it?
2.Is it a good idea to delete digidesign databases on all drives as a daily routine, or can I damage any files? Thanks in advance. Good luck to all of you.

Hi,
The crash log will tell you which thread has caused the crash! this is displayed at the top, just scroll down to that thread and see what caused it!? it doesn't always say exactly the cause, but usually gives a strong indication!! I have never deleted my database files! i use my database regularly when looking for and inporting sounds and files!! But i know some people do remove these folders!! i'll be surprised if there is any evidence to show that removing these daily has any benefits. Regards Chris

I have bolted crash logs to either side of my Mac and they seem to keep it from crashing into objects. thanks for the tip.
