Crash Logs
Protools has been freezing my computer for some time now. You can see more about it in detail, including crash log, here http://duc.digidesign.com/showflat.php?Number=1288444 . This post is about crash logs and what you can gather from them. Here are my questions:
What assumptions can I make knowing that the crash log is exactly the same every time I have a freeze? Could this point to a hardware issue (ie ram, cpu), or would it exclude hardware and point to a software incompatibility? Why does my crash log refer to the digirewire plugin several times very near the top of thread 0 even though I am not using anything involving digirewire and dont even have the .dpm file in my plugins folder?!?
