Red Bullseye\'s
Basic question, feeling a little for asking it....
What the heck are these things? They do anything? (the little red circles on sends and plugins) I can't hear it, and don't have the big manual. Thanks B. |

Re: Red Bullseye\'s
I *think* when you disable it (grey) you can open another RTAS plugin window along side the existing one. Whereas if you try that when it's red it'll just replace the window - one at at time kind of thing.
It probably does more than this. Tom. |

Re: Red Bullseye\'s
It's called the target and it will let you open more than one plugin window at a time. It also allows you to toggle thru the different open plugin windows for tweeking with a controller. When you have numerous plug's open the "target" will have the red color and the others will be greyed out.

Re: Red Bullseye\'s
The ability to have multiple plug-in windows open was added in Pro Tools 5.1.1. In the Technical Document Library:
Pro Tools 5.1.1 Addendum (492 k) includes "What's New in Pro Tools 5.1.1" brinaddison is correct. Check your DigiRack Plug-Ins Guide for the following: Working with Real-Time Plug-Ins->The Plug-In Window->Using the Plug-In Window and Opening Multiple Plug-In Windows. The bullseye is the Target buttton: Target Button When multiple Plug-In windows are open, clicking this button selects that plugin as the target for any computer keyboard commands.
