Default ProTools LE 6.4 crashes when opening a session

I'm having a problem. I downloaded and installed PT6.4LE a couple weeks ago and I'm running OSX 10.3.3 on a PowerBook G4 867. Now, whenever I try to open a session or create one from scratch, ProTools crashes. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the ProTools program to no avail. I don't know what to try next. Thanks in advance for any help.
