Anyone on this side has had luck running Reason with the drivers?
It's not listed at the supported client list in the PDFs, but according to Digi's post, you can use it with Reason. |

Hey,
Anyone actually figure out the whole "1 application at a time" limit? Is that 1 core audio app, or 1 audio app (including ProTools) - In laymans terms, can be in ProTools, background it, and run iTunes if ProTools has "Active in Background" unchecked? - As it was in 9? Also, digi, why can Mix handle 16 i/o while HD is 8? Thanks David Bullard Masque Sound and Recording |

Digi,
First of all, thanks. I'm having a problem. Core Audio work great with PT6 & iTunes, but in JAM 5.0.1, if I select the "Digidesign HW (HD)", it reverts back to the Built-in Audio Controller after I click ok. Did you guys deal with this? If so, what's the fix? Do I need to remove the audio card or remove and install JAM? Thanks. Lance

One thing that disturbed me was the fact that when I started PT6 I kept Getting the DAE error as if my interface was in use even though I did not have any applications open using it. Turns out, if you have System Preferences open and in the sounds preferences, somehow the DAE driver is being used and prevents PT6 from acquiring it for use. You have to be sure system preferences is completely closed and not on that screen to use PT6. I was not making any changes to sound, but I was just in it. Could just be me, which I am ok with , and it only happened once.

Seems to be problematic downloading with Safari. You end up with a download.bin file that stuffit will quit on. You can however change the suffix to .dmg and it will mount.
Works okay with Explorer. But thanks anyway. |
