Full-scale white noise on M1 when video track present

I didn't see this listed in known issues, but if I create a session, import video, separate its audio, then import any audio tracks, the newly imported audio tracks play back full-scale noise. Waveforms look normal. Original video track's separated audio plays fine.

Original video was mp4.

Is this a known issue I'm not aware of?

Hey Matt, I just tried with a few different client-supplied MP4 videos, and then imported audio files afterwards without a problem. No file corruption.
I thought you might have hit on something related to the MP3 bug, but your described workflow is fine here.
Does it happen with all your videos, or just a specific one ?

There's definitely something changed in the 2021.10 import engine however.
When I backtrack to 2021.7 the MP3 file that screws up in 2021.10 works fine.
Dunno if you can test those same files in an earlier version of PT with your M1. It would be interesting. I'm not on M1, still Intel.

Thank you! I think the M1 is the factor, possibly. I will try a different video file as well.
