Registration transfer question

HI guys

So.......nearly there ....the guy Im about to buy from has pro tools 7 and bought 8 ( or an upgrade I assume)and registered it

how would registration be transferred to me ?

also there is an ilok would that need to be transferred to me too ?

is the ilok necessary ?

Bomb factory and ignition pack comes with 7 im told...
