Default scribble strip going dim off and on

The rest of the board seems to work fine but the scribble strip will offten dim out and stay that way for a bit with it ocassionally flashing to full brightness.

Also, the left main monitor will fade out and the only thing I have been able to do to fix it is unplug the cable on the back of the console and plug it back in again. That'll fix it at times.

Is this the bad powrer supply issue? I need to call Digi Support most likely but I wanted to see what people have experiened before I do.

Hi,

That is exactly the first signs of the power supply problem! and the first thing to do is remove the power supply and clean all the contacts on all the connectors. make sure you label them all before you remove the connections from the power supply!!! clean them all and make sur they all have a good tight fit. they do just work them selves lose over time, probably from the tapping on the transport or vibrations from the monitors.

I'll go ahead and try that. According to the owner of the studio, it didn't do this until they moved to the new location. So, maybe moving stuff around caused it.
