Digi 002 resetting in Windows XP Pro w/ Protools..

I'm running Protools 5.3.2LE on Windows XP Pro. Everytime I start it up, my 002 "resets" itself and displays "Standby" on the LED's. Protools doesn't give any error message unless I try to play or record. I've downloaded and installed the firmware v1.05a update, which fixed it for a little while, but it still doesn't work!!! I've got to have this working!! I've got some projects to finish A.S.A.P. HELP!!!
