Best Tablet for the Dock?

I'm thinking about getting the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite since its height is 244.5mm. It's almost twice the price of the Huawei T5 but its screen is 10.4" vs the 10.1" on the T5.

Just wonder if anyone thinks the extra screen space is worth the extra cost.

The portrait configuration looks sloppy with all the empty space between the edges of the iPad and the actual dock. Is there new thin bezel tablet that fits properly, makes the iPad look "built-in" and lines up to the knobs?

The 10.5" looks good, but the bezel is such a waste of screen space.

I'm just reviewing this thread and saw the link to the 12.9" iPad in Portrait mode. I just purchased two S1's and a Dock and currently do my plugin editing on my 12.9" iPad Pro in Landscape mode on an S1.

What do I need to change in order to get that Portrait look as posted?

Put it in your Dock and add the tablet as you would for normal Dock workflow.

I don’t know how you physically have your surfaces laid out to answer that question.

Add the tablets you use as meters on top of the S1’s in EuControl and add the AC tablet that will be physically on the Dock under the Dock listed in EuControl.

Nothing else needs to be done.

The orientation of surfaces in EuControl should be top to bottom of list as the physical layout is left to right.

So. If on your desk you have S1(meters)+S1(meters)+Dock(AC)
Then in EuControl it should be added in this order

S1(meter AC)
S1(meter AC)
Dock
Avid Control

This has generally worked for me.

Follow the order in EuControl as I suggested based on your physical layout.

You’re pictures are showing two different layouts and don’t match EuControl

Keep in mind I have the larger 12.9" iPad Pro should that be as a Meter on the 2nd S1 or in Portrait Mode on the Dock?
