Default warp stuck.. sort of.

trying to move some audio using warp.
using those anchor points, or whatever they are called. line with triangle at bottom.
first one in the clip won't move earlier(to the left) in the tracks. other points seem to be fine. move back and forth.
just the first one.
i can move it back(right), but not forward, beyond it's original spot.
is there a setting for that?
thanks...

That's the way it's always worked for me. If you need it to move further, then insert another warp before it as I don't think you can move it that direction from its anchor. If there's no audio there, you could consolidate some blank space with the clip to make it longer.

Or you could nudge the clip earlier in time till the anchor (start) is in the right place and go from there.

ok, but these seem like awkward workarounds.
and even if anchor is in the clip, not on the edge of the clip, which is where mine are, it won't move earlier, as long as it it the first one.
could have sworn that didn't always happen...?
and going the other way, forward in time, at the other end of a clip, is not a problem.

thanks...

...and...
problem is not happening in my current session right now. so thee must be some sort of pref or lock or something preventing the first anchor point from moving to the left...
?
