5.1.1 user on a PT24 wants to update to 5.x.x
Hi Digi,
Seems the latest version of PT is 5.3.2? which is the latest version I might be able to go to? Besides, my system is a PT 24 with a soon to arrive mix card. So...?

Kind of depends what you want to do:
If you want to use DigiStudio for internet collaboration, you can download v5.2.1. It's a free update. If you want to work with Avid video files or exchange OMF files, you'll want to upgrade to v5.1.3. This is free if you already own an AVoption of AVoption|XL, or if you buy DigiTranslator 2.0 (which is required for OMF interchange). Otherwise, there's really no reason to update from 5.1.1, unless you want to go to a Pro Tools|HD system - which, naturally, I would advise (I'm a Digi employee)...

thanks Gordon, but dollar is climbing here in Brazil. Just to the world have an idea of how a bad administered country can be: comparing what I paid for my PT system in 1999, today I have to spend almost 3 times more to havethe same stuff.
