There is no such thing as a Mac or Windows license, a license applies to any platform.

And there are two classes of Pro Tools 12 licenses… 12.6 — or 12.5 and earlier. Which one are you after? A 12.5 or earlier will not activate 12.6 or later.

A lot of older HD licenses are not transferable and Avid will likely enforce selling those with the hardware they were originally bundled with. You will see lots of licenses like that only sold on an iLok or more expensive ones sold via iLok account transfer. Which type are you after?

And, to expound on this a little bit more, if anyone is selling Pro Tools that they claim is Mac or Windows-ONLY, then they are likely selling cracked software. Back to the request, what exact OS version are you planning on running(IOW, why 12HD specifically)?
