I have no issues with it. In preferences you can put Manufacturer and category

Only thing I would change is to have the option to view the lot at once. Sometimes I have some native plugs that are not dsp (surely not? &#129313 and it can be a bit hard to find some. Viewing the lot would make "happy accidents" of rediscovery more likely.

Only thing that bugs me is that I need to remember first whether the plugin is stereo or multi-mono. If a plugin is mono-only, it will not appear on the stereo list for obvious reasons. Many times I don't find (fast enough) what I think I'm looking for and therefore end up using something else.

I myself would drop that and show plugins first, then different version (multi-mono, stereo, dsp multi-mono, dsp stereo) of plugin when I hover over the plugin name.

Actually I like it, the only thing I'd change is to have a custom or favourite menu so I can choose the most used ones, let's say 10 or so.

Hold down Command while inserting a plugin and it'll be made a "favorite" and appear at the top of the list next time you go to the pulldown.

I know that one, but that's only one or two. I'd rather compile a list tailored to my needs, including EQ, DYN, some special processing, etc.

I literally have no problem with it at all. Just move unused plug-ins to the unused folder. Sorted.

How about a little searchbar on top or bottom of the dropdown menu? That would make me happy.
