Mbox 2 for Intel based MacBook Pro
My Mbox 2 will not turn on with my Intel based MacBook Pro, and my ProTools v6.8.1 cannot find hardware. I have dowloaded Mbox 2 Beta Firmware & Driver Update Kit v1.38, but it still will not find hardware. I have never seen any form of a "found new hardware" USB pop-up, is this normal or must I upgrade to Pro Tools v 7.1.1cs2 for my Intel based MacBook Pro for it to recognize when Mbox 2 is plugged in?
everything works fine on my 2 other computers - both PC. Any Ideas? |

Re: Mbox 2 for Intel based MacBook Pro
First off Mac's won't have the "Found USB Harware" thing... thats a PC thing.
And YES ABSOLUTELY you need at least PT 7.1.1 That is the earliest Intel Mac version. Make sure PT 6.x is completely uninstalled from your system before you start with 7.1.1 Also be absolutely sure ALLLLL of your plugins in your plugin folder are PT7 and Intel Mac compatible When in doubt download everything off Digi's site and read everything on the page.
