Spacebar Problem

For whatever reason when I press spacebar instead of playing from the previously marked spot it will instead play from the spot I stopped the playback. In other words it basically pauses playback rather than stopping it and going back to the spot where I marked it which is what it was doing until it decided to change for whatever reason... Anyway, anyone know how to switch this back?

awesome thanks man that was driving me nuts. must of accidentally pressed it when pressing the spacebar

For visual reference there is button on the toolbar, under the pencil tool, that will turn blue if this mode (called Insertion follows Playback) is turned on. If it is off then the button is grey.

Just FYI.
