Default Sound only coming from left speaker on my MBox mini

I recently bought the new mbox mini with Pro tools 8. I'm having a problem with my signal. When I plug my guitar into the interface and play there's only a signal coming from the left speaker. However, when I record, and playback, the signal is normal on both sides of the speaker. How do I get my guitar signal on both sides of the speaker?

Are you recording your guitar( a MONO source) to a stereo audio track? Record mono signals(like guitar, bass, vocal) to a mono track.

I am doing both of those things. I am recording my signal on Mono and I have my mix in the middle. However I get the signal on both sides of the speaker only when I record enable a track. What gives??
